GP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Education at Adeney Private Hospital.
Adeney Private Hospital is committed to providing GP’s, Clinicians and the wider healthcare community with relevant medical education via our CPD-appropriate events and programs. We are committed to offering a broad range of educational opportunities across an expansive range of medical and surgical specialties.
Adeney Private Hospital works closely with our highly regarded specialists and healthcare practitioners to offer engaging, interactive sessions focused on valuable and contemporary information to support clinical upskilling.
GP’s can record completed educational activities via their chosen CPD Home provider.
Adeney Private Hospital continuously aims to collaborate and engage with our GP and wider healthcare community.
The Medical Board of Australia requires all health care practitioners to undertake 50 hours of CPD annually:
- 12.5 hours Educational Activities (EA)
- 5 hours Reviewing Performance (RP)
- 5 hours Measuring Outcomes (MO)
- 15 hours Reviewing performance and/or measuring outcomes
- 12.5 hours “free choice” across any category
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) training completed in each triennium period. (RACGP requirement only)
