FAQs
What surgical and medical services does Adeney Private Hospital offer?
Adeney Private Hospital offers a comprehensive range of surgical and medical services including orthopaedic surgery, joint replacement, gastroenterology, ENT head and neck surgery, colorectal surgery, urology, vascular surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, haematology, medical oncology, and medical infusion therapy. Day surgery is also available for eligible patients.
What is the difference between day surgery and overnight surgery?
Day surgery means your procedure is performed and you return home on the same day — typically within a few hours. It is suitable for lower-complexity operations where recovery is straightforward. Overnight surgery, or inpatient surgery, means you stay in hospital for one or more nights. This is recommended for more complex procedures or where closer postoperative monitoring is required. At Adeney Private Hospital, both options are available. Inpatient patients stay in the Grigg Ward, a dedicated 30-bed surgical ward where every room is private with a full ensuite.
Does Adeney Private Hospital offer robotic surgery?
Yes. Adeney Private Hospital provides access to surgical robotics technology, supporting minimally invasive robotic-assisted procedures across specialties including orthopaedic. Robotic surgery can improve surgical precision and support faster recovery for eligible patients.
